Buying Reclaimed wood comes with two significant benefits. Firstly, these woods are durable and are “family proof”, secondly, they are environmentally friendly.
You won’t be surprised to know that beds in our reclaimed wood collection may include natural markings and blemishes that you find on reclaimed wood. This is an inherent part of our bedroom furniture and we believe that it adds to the beauty of the furniture. We do not intend an MDF or Plantation timber finish. Our furniture is hand crafted and, although sanding smooth is an easy thing to do, we will not remove the historic character of these woods. Therefore the marks, indentations, blocking and filling are all part of the character of this product.
The movement of wood is as natural as it’s knots. Within the first twelve months environmental changes can affect these woods.
