These beds are absolutely ideal for small bedrooms! Single bed – the mattress size required for this size bed would be 90cm x 190cm (3ft x 6ft 3). This is the most popular size of bed for children's or guest bedrooms. Compact double bed – also known as small double or three quarter bed – the mattress size required for this size bed would be 120cm x 190cm (4ft x 6ft 3). This size bed is a fantastic option for when you can't quite fit a double bed into your room as it is slightly smaller! Double bed – the mattress size required for this size bed is 135cm x 190cm (4ft 6 x 6ft 3). This size bed has always been one of the biggest sellers in the bed trade and most designs will include this size due to this fact. King size bed – also known in the far east as 'queen size' – the mattress size required for this size of bed would be 150cm x 200cm (5ft x 6ft 6). This size bed is a fabulous upgrade from a double when you are requiring a little more room in order to sleep better!
