Wooden beds are known for their outstanding sturdiness so it wasn't a hard decision to develop a range that throws together romantic, French style with strength and longevity! French oak beds are selling like hotcakes at the moment – especially the ones that are sleigh beds! Oak wood is known for its hardwood properties – due to it being a dense wood that is really hard to gouge or damage. This is why a lot of people tend to want to spend that little bit of extra money when buying a French oak sleigh bed, as they know that the extra money will be put to good use as it will probably last longer than some other models. A light coloured bed does wonders to lift a room due to the brightness of the paint and true to form, follows suit of a genuine French bed as many of them are painted in light colours! There are two different main styles of the French style wooden bed – the first being very ornate and features beautifully carved shapes on the headboard or foot board. Due to this fact, we have decided to deliver all of our French beds by a two man carrier who will carry all items to the room of your choice – it doesn't even matter if you live on the 10th floor of an apartment block – they will still do the lifting for you! This carrier is also very good in the fact that they don't keep you waiting in all day for your delivery. They contact you the day before your chosen delivery date (by text or email) to let you know your three hour timeslot for the actual day!
