The New Oak wooden bed frame by Devonshire Pine is wonderfully crafted from top quality timber that has a modern but contemporary feel and merges style with traditional construction features. This simple but stylish design will fit easily into many different surroundings. This bed is such good quality that even the lacquered top coat is expertly done!

The design of the New Oak bed comes from the influence of the Shaker people. Simplicity is the key to everything as everything else around then slots in with things – this is so very true of this gorgeous bed frame! The traditional slatted headboard is finished off with a beautiful plinth but the foot end of this particular version of the bed is kept nice and low so that a feeling of space is kept in your bedroom!

This range of beds is very sturdy – as well as an excellent quality main frame, the sleeping platform beneath the mattress is kept to the same kind of strength by containing a base of solid wooden flat slats with a centre rail and support legs. This base is suitable for any type of mattress.
